Melanie Moore:

I discovered tapping as a really good tool

2

:

for healing physical symptoms.

3

:

And back then, I was looking for

tools to help me with migraines.

4

:

I was getting monthly headaches.

5

:

And, and also hay fever as

well, seasonal allergies.

6

:

I used to suffer really badly

from seasonal allergies.

7

:

And I'd, I'd kind of heard that

this tapping thing could be good.

8

:

So I think it was hay

fever I did it on first.

9

:

And this is when I was

really like, oh my gosh.

10

:

So before I even knew that it could

help on mindset and limiting beliefs,

11

:

it helped me with physical issues.

12

33

:

Melanie is on a mission to help millions

of people to dream bigger, think bigger

34

:

and act bigger and I love that because

you have changed my world personally.

35

:

I have been tapping with you for a few

years now, and I'm so excited that we're

36

:

talking today, finally, because I have

had some major shifts from tapping.

37

:

So Mel, I would love to just hear

how you got started tapping and

38

:

how it became a business for you.

39

:

Melanie Moore: Well firstly,

thank you so much for having me.

40

:

It's absolute pleasure

to be on your podcast.

41

:

So.

42

:

I have always been interested

in holistic therapies, personal

43

:

development, and mindset.

44

:

And to rewind many years, I

worked in the corporate world.

45

:

I was a journalist.

46

:

I worked for the BBC.

47

:

And then I guess, as you

mentioned, I love to help women

48

:

at crossroads in their lives.

49

:

And I found myself at

several crossroads myself.

50

:

And the first one was kind of,

Leaving the corporate world

51

:

but becoming a mother as well.

52

:

So my son is 19 now and I Decided to leave

the corporate world and start business

53

:

as a holistic therapist So I started

off doing Reiki reflexology, and I'd

54

:

say it was around just after my daughter

My daughter was born, so I'd say about

55

:

15 years ago, I discovered Emotional

Freedom Techniques, discovered Tapping.

56

:

And back then, my holistic therapy

career started off helping women on their

57

:

fertility, their childbirth journey, so

that my Reiki and Reflexology sessions

58

:

were all for women trying to get

pregnant and throughout their pregnancy.

59

:

Then I discovered EFT and I

brought that into my business as

60

:

well, helping women with their

anxieties around getting pregnant.

61

:

And again, with same fertility

journey, but I found that tapping

62

:

was getting much better results.

63

:

And, I could also then start to

work with people online as well.

64

:

I could do tapping over Skype.

65

:

Skype came around before Zoom did.

66

:

And then I could start to work

with international clients as well.

67

:

But on the side, I also, because I was

really interested in personal development,

68

:

manifesting the law of attraction, I

started to do vision board workshops.

69

:

And I hosted these locally,

near my house, in hotels.

70

:

I then started to do corporate

vision board workshops because I

71

:

just started an online business.

72

:

I was then doing these vision

board workshops online as well.

73

:

And at some point, probably about seven

or eight years ago, I kind of thought

74

:

there's, there's a bit of a link here.

75

:

There's a natural way that tapping

can be bought into the business.

76

:

So my business tapping into your big

vision was born where I bought the

77

:

tapping into the vision board workshops.

78

:

And I realized that actually

the whole manifesting game is.

79

:

All to do with emotions and mindset.

80

:

And it was then, it was

like a lightbulb moment.

81

:

Oh my gosh, making a vision

board on its own isn't enough.

82

:

We have to get clear on the vision.

83

:

And then it's how do we

navigate the journey of life?

84

:

That's yes, you've made your vision

board and you think, yay, I'm just

85

:

going to manifest all the things,

but life doesn't really work

86

:

that way because things happen.

87

:

We have all sorts of problems.

88

:

Just doing a call in my members

group yesterday and I said,

89

:

life is such a rollercoaster.

90

:

We had really sad situation where one

of my clients passed away recently.

91

:

And then another one of my clients

in the same group, literally on the

92

:

same day, she shared her story of how

18 months ago she was brokenhearted.

93

:

She was looking for deep, meaningful love.

94

:

And after working with me for

a couple of sessions, she met.

95

:

The love of her life and literally

she was sharing the group that, you

96

:

know, she'd just had their baby.

97

:

So 18 months from being from

heartbroken to like, Oh my God, am

98

:

I ever going to find a man to now

just kind of sharing the group?

99

:

She's just had a baby.

100

:

So life is sad.

101

:

It's tragic.

102

:

We've got bereavement to deal with.

103

:

We've got lost, got heartache

and all the while we want to.

104

:

Manifest big things.

105

:

So I just think tapping is just such

a wonderful tool to help us through

106

:

all of that, need it to get clear

on what we want, but we need it to

107

:

help us through the journey as well.

108

:

Sorry, it's a very long-winded

answer to your question.

109

:

I'm not even sure if

I've answered it or not.

110

:

Holly Ostara: No, it

that's a great answer.

111

:

One of the things that I keep

coming back to as you were talking

112

:

is that everybody says in order

to manifest, you've gotta feel it.

113

:

You can't just want it or

put it on a vision board.

114

:

You have to feel it.

115

:

And you were saying that you found

that EFT was working much better than

116

:

reflexology and Reiki, and do you

think the connection there is because

117

:

of the emotion and being able to

feel it better when you do tapping?

118

:

How would you explain it?

119

:

How, how well it works?

120

:

Melanie Moore: Well, I think what tapping

does, it basically rewires our brains.

121

:

It helps to shift our thought patterns.

122

:

And the only reason we are feeling

bad or anxious or fearful or worried

123

:

is because there is some kind of

negative chatter going on in our head.

124

:

And what tapping does, it addresses

the emotion that you're feeling

125

:

fear, anxiety, overwhelm, whatever.

126

:

But through the course of a round of

tapping, and you've seen my videos, it

127

:

can happen very quickly, within five

to ten minutes, we shift that language

128

:

from letting go of that feeling that

we're feeling, and we're replacing

129

:

it with a more positive feeling.

130

:

We're replacing it with positive language

because it's the thoughts that create the

131

:

feeling, it's not the other way around.

132

:

We only feel things because of the

things that's going on in our head.

133

:

And of course, please don't get me

wrong, no, reflexology sessions, massage,

134

:

Reiki, they're amazing treatments and

I have them myself because it's really

135

:

nice just to have that treatment.

136

:

But sometimes it's just like getting to

the the core of the thoughts and sometimes

137

:

people don't even know what it is is

kind of causing the patterns until it's

138

:

like it's a therapy session, so you're

having this therapy, you're talking about

139

:

whatever it is the problem is, but we

are flipping on its head and instead of

140

:

focusing what we don't want, I think,

actually, what is it you do want instead?

141

:

And as soon as we start focusing what we

do want, the emotions we want to feel.

142

:

We just feel better.

143

:

It's as simple as that.

144

:

Holly Ostara: It's true.

145

:

I always do feel better after I tap.

146

:

It's on my habit tracker to tap every day.

147

:

And it's interesting that you say it's

the thoughts because sometimes if I'm

148

:

watching one of your videos and we're just

kind of tapping along and it's on maybe

149

:

making more money or something like that.

150

:

Some of the, I would say I

don't know the right word.

151

:

Sentences, the prompts that we say,

I'm like, I didn't even think of

152

:

that, but yeah, I'm feeling that.

153

:

So it fits.

154

:

And, and, and I didn't even realize

that that's what I was feeling

155

:

until we started tapping on it.

156

:

Melanie Moore: A lot of people ask me,

Oh, how do you come up with your scripts?

157

:

I don't script any of them ever.

158

:

I tune into Whatever it is that the

topic that I'm going to be tapping

159

:

on, and I literally feel into it.

160

:

Sometimes it's a request from

one of my members community.

161

:

Sometimes it's on YouTube.

162

:

People will, if lots of people ask

for a particular one, or sometimes

163

:

think, you know what, I feel that

this is what people need right now.

164

:

And, in the moment, I guess

it's a form of channeling.

165

:

In the moment, I don't even notice

the words that are coming through.

166

:

And afterwards, I watch it back and

I don't even remember saying that.

167

:

It's just literally been

divinely downloaded.

168

:

Out it comes.

169

:

I know you help writers as well.

170

:

It's the same with writing.

171

:

I do believe it's a form of channeling

that we are divinely inspired to create.

172

:

I think it's the same with

songwriters, artists, musicians.

173

:

We are all channeling, I don't

know, God's work, universe, source,

174

:

whatever terminology we want to use.

175

:

Where does the word

inspiration even come from?

176

:

It comes from being in spirit, I believe.

177

:

So I do believe we get that

Download, divine download.

178

:

And for me, it's

downloading, tapping videos.

179

:

Holly Ostara: I mean,

somebody has to do it, right?

180

:

And I personally think that anytime

somebody gets writer's block, I don't

181

:

really believe in writer's block,

but there's, there's definitely

182

:

something going on there, but.

183

:

I think it has to do with just

blocking that your ability to

184

:

kind of download or just intuit.

185

:

What words you're supposed to say,

or what words are meant to come out

186

:

because something's going on stress or

having a long day or a lot of stuff.

187

:

And it's just.

188

:

Kind of, like, prevents your ability

to download, which is what I think

189

:

writer's block ends up being.

190

:

So, I would love to hear about some of

the moments you've had with yourself and

191

:

maybe some shifts that you've experienced

if you're willing to share some of those.

192

:

Melanie Moore: Oh my gosh, I

don't even know where to begin.

193

:

Me, I discovered tapping as a really

good tool for healing physical symptoms.

194

:

And back then, I was looking for

tools to help me with migraines.

195

:

I was getting monthly headaches.

196

:

And, and also hay fever as

well, seasonal allergies.

197

:

I used to suffer really badly

from seasonal allergies.

198

:

And I'd, I'd kind of heard that

this tapping thing could be good.

199

:

So I think it was hay

fever I did it on first.

200

:

And this is when I was

really like, oh my gosh.

201

:

So before I even knew that it could

help on mindset and limiting beliefs,

202

:

it helped me with physical issues.

203

:

And I've always been very interested

in the mind body connection.

204

:

So they were the first big like, oh

my gosh, just 10 minutes of this means

205

:

I don't have to take an antihistamine

or ibuprofen or paracetamol.

206

:

So that was the first thing,

but I'd say my biggest.

207

:

Aha was probably realizing I could use

it as a manifesting tool and particularly

208

:

around money and my marriage ended

probably about nine years ago and my

209

:

children were still quite young then

and of course suddenly I became the

210

:

breadwinner in the house and having to

like put a roof over two children's heads

211

:

and, and really questioning, can I sustain

myself in business or am I going to have

212

:

to go back to my old corporate career?

213

:

It was a, that was a real crossroads.

214

:

And I'd already, I'd

already made the decision.

215

:

I wanted to run my own business when I

had the children because I didn't want to

216

:

be back then before the kids were born.

217

:

I was getting on the train at

seven o'clock in the morning

218

:

and I wasn't coming home.

219

:

Till from London till seven o'clock at

night and I knew that when the children

220

:

came along I wanted to be at home but

I also wanted to run my own business.

221

:

So this aha moment came when I

really tapped on money anxiety.

222

:

I was tapping a lot, oh my gosh, I

was tapping several times a day for,

223

:

it was like a prayer, it was like

tapping for assistance from the divine.

224

:

And it was like, it was sometimes it's

just simplest, you know, even though I

225

:

really don't know what to do right now,

I'm open to be showing the next step,

226

:

even though I really don't know, even

though I'm full of fear and anxiety,

227

:

I'm open to receiving inspiration.

228

:

And I would use it as

kind of a meditation.

229

:

And then I'd kind of sit and

meditate and then answers would come.

230

:

And, but I remember one moment

I was tapping at an ATM machine

231

:

because I was scared to look at my.

232

:

Bank balance and I sat there just tapping

thinking even though I'm feeling so

233

:

anxious right now I choose to feel calm,

even though whatever the figure says

234

:

on the screen I know that I can deal

with it and I was just making it up.

235

:

I choose to feel calm I

choose to feel relaxed.

236

:

I choose to trust that it's all okay.

237

:

And then I Put in my pin number.

238

:

I looked at that.

239

:

Oh my gosh I've got 500 pounds more

here than I thought I had and in the

240

:

moment it felt like a miracle calm

The money was probably already there,

241

:

but in that moment, it just, wow, this

just feels like a miracle because that

242

:

money shouldn't have been there, but it

was there and I just kept continuing.

243

:

That's like tapping for clients.

244

:

I was tapping for money making ideas and

then it was kind of around this time.

245

:

I was kind of asked, how can I take my

business from just a local business All my

246

:

client base was probably moms at school.

247

:

They were people local to my community.

248

:

My advertising was in my

local coffee shops and I don't

249

:

think anyone further came.

250

:

See it was all at home.

251

:

I thought, how can I take

my work, bigger audience?

252

:

And then this app came up.

253

:

It was literally within a few days

this app came along called Periscope.

254

:

I dunno if you ever remember that.

255

:

Holly Ostara: I remember, yeah.

256

:

Melanie Moore: I was super active

on per immediately I thought.

257

:

I love this app.

258

:

And I could just suddenly

start talking about mindset.

259

:

I was doing live tapping.

260

:

I wasn't doing it anywhere else.

261

:

I didn't really have a YouTube channel

then, but I grew an audience quite

262

:

quickly and an international audience.

263

:

So suddenly I was getting like

one to one bookings from people in

264

:

America and Australia and Europe.

265

:

And it's just kind of just gave

me the confidence to like, Oh

266

:

my gosh, my client base isn't.

267

:

Just local.

268

:

And then shortly after that, I

then took my business online.

269

:

So I truly believe it all kind of

came from, that's why I call my

270

:

business Jumping Into Your Big Vision,

because we all have goals, we all

271

:

have dreams, but most of us don't.

272

:

Don't have the courage to, we

don't believe it's possible.

273

:

If you told me 10 years ago, and I've

just had this milestone on, I think

274

:

I've just gone over a million views, not

subscribers, but a million views on my

275

:

YouTube channel, which felt like a huge

milestone because I've got a million

276

:

people tapped along with my videos.

277

:

And that's a huge amount of impact.

278

:

That's a huge, and I know lots of

them are the same people who come back

279

:

again and again, but I see the channels

growing at quite a quick rate now.

280

:

So it feels like an exaggeration when you

say, Oh, no, impact millions of people.

281

:

That's kind of literally

where I'm getting to.

282

:

And I would never have believed

that was possible and 10 years ago.

283

:

So, and I think that's why,

you know, you shared my bio.

284

:

I do love to help people to dream

bigger, to see beyond what's possible.

285

:

I think one of my.

286

:

One of my party tricks, one of my gifts

is that I can meet somebody and I often

287

:

mention like even Uber drivers, I love

chatting with Uber drivers and usually

288

:

they've got goals, they've got dreams,

they've got all these things, all

289

:

these things they're doing on the side.

290

:

And usually by the end of the

trip, I've given them a blueprint.

291

:

This is what you need to do.

292

:

This, this, this, and this,

and you can stop driving Ubers.

293

:

So I let you do it with anyone, but most

people it's like you can lead a horse

294

:

to water, but you can't make it drink.

295

:

So often I see the big vision people,

but then we enter a whole new.

296

:

set of mindset stuff.

297

:

I think, okay, I've given you the idea.

298

:

I can see the vision for you,

but I can't do the work for you.

299

:

You've got to believe in yourself.

300

:

You've got to take action.

301

:

You've got to have courage.

302

:

Do that next step.

303

:

And yeah, so, but of course then

people then, sometimes people

304

:

then want to be coached further

to, like, it's like any coach.

305

:

I work with a personal trainer at the

gym at the moment, because I know if

306

:

I go to the gym on my own, I will not

work anywhere near as hard as when

307

:

I'm working with my personal trainer.

308

:

Holly Ostara: Yeah, 100%.

309

:

Everybody says do a yoga class at home,

do a video yoga class and I can't.

310

:

I need somebody looking at me and

giving me that evil eye if I'm

311

:

not, if I'm not participating.

312

:

Or gentle encouragement.

313

:

Or gentle encouragement, yes.

314

:

We're all here together, you

get what you came for, but I

315

:

need somebody to remind me that.

316

:

So.

317

:

One of the schools of thought,

well, there's so many schools of

318

:

thought around manifesting, and

one of the schools of thought is

319

:

that it's all just kind of magic.

320

:

I love that, that's beautiful,

but I don't believe that.

321

:

I believe that manifesting is that, as

you said, there is a big vision available

322

:

for you, and you can see it, and maybe

sometimes the person it's for can't see

323

:

it, and that everything is within reach.

324

:

But we put our own little blinders

up and doing all these different

325

:

techniques, like light tapping, it

helps you take those blinders off so

326

:

that you can actually grab that vision.

327

:

And that's what I've

experienced in my life.

328

:

So like, I can be really close to

something like when I was taking my

329

:

business from just being kind of word

of mouth referrals and kind of a side

330

:

hustle sort of thing to growing it to a

full time business, I I knew that there

331

:

was something out there, but I, but I

kept thinking, oh, oh, I've, but I've

332

:

never gotten a client that I didn't, that

didn't know somebody that I know before.

333

:

I've never gotten a client

who never knew me before.

334

:

And then I would tap on it and

just say, you know what, this is

335

:

definitely something I can reach.

336

:

And then the next day, the next

day, I would get a booking from

337

:

somebody that I'd never heard

of, who I had never met before.

338

:

And.

339

:

I guess there's some sort of magic

to that, but I think that it's

340

:

really just more like God or the

universe was waiting for me to,

341

:

to kind of say, okay, I'm ready.

342

:

And once I did, everything came.

343

:

Melanie Moore: There is, there is so much

magic out there and sometimes the only way

344

:

you can say, oh my gosh, that was magic.

345

:

But I do believe that when you are ready,

Whatever it is you want or you need

346

:

comes and some things do take longer than

others and some things you know, I'm so

347

:

patiently waiting for and of course there

are some times when things seem to be

348

:

going really well and when the universe

throws a curveball your way and it's

349

:

all right I didn't manifest that where

did that come from but I believe there's

350

:

kind of lessons to be learned in that as

well and and life isn't this easy ride.

351

:

It's really hard.

352

:

It's really challenging.

353

:

And Even as we go through, you know,

we're talking just briefly before

354

:

we went live, just same journey

as, as our journey as parents.

355

:

When you deal with a baby, it's

very different to dealing with

356

:

the toddler, to dealing with a

10 year old, to dealing with what

357

:

I've got now, 16 and 19 year old.

358

:

Now I've got colleges,

universities to look at.

359

:

It's kind of a worrying about your

kids when they go out driving.

360

:

It's parties and it's boys or girls

and it's, and it's dealing with their

361

:

emotions and their upsets as well.

362

:

You're suddenly living.

363

:

Not you're not living their lives,

but of course you're their parent

364

:

and you're not suddenly just detached

from them because they're a bit older.

365

:

In fact, if anything, when they're

upset or if they've got to go

366

:

through challenging time, it's

like, oh my gosh, it suddenly

367

:

becomes your challenge as well.

368

:

So then, and me, I've got

elderly parents as well.

369

:

My dad's got dementia.

370

:

My mom is 86 and she's got.

371

:

Mobility issues just like now I've kind

of got to keep an eye on them as well

372

:

It's just not plain sailing But I think

it's quite beautiful as well this journey

373

:

that when we've got mindset tools It

makes the journey so much easier because

374

:

otherwise you're just gonna you're just

gonna want a bottle of wine each night

375

:

I very rarely drink by the way, but I

think that's what most people use to

376

:

cope with life And, and actually there

was so many other better things and to

377

:

cope and, but also my kids, my daughter,

especially she taps, she shares my video

378

:

with her friends, which is amazing.

379

:

I always thought she would, as she

did go through a little phase of

380

:

being a bit embarrassed about what

I did, but she's over that now.

381

:

But yeah, it's just such a wonderful

tool to help us navigate things.

382

:

But also when we get aligned and in

flow, that's when the magic happens.

383

:

That's when we can manifest some

really cool stuff in our life.

384

:

Holly Ostara: I love it.

385

:

It's been so helpful for me.

386

:

I know once a year that you do a

prosperity party Coming up soon

387

:

coming up soon and you help people

manifest things in five days?

388

:

Can you tell me about that?

389

:

Hey friends, I hope

395

:

396

:

Oh, and be sure to subscribe to the

podcast, like go ahead and do it now.

397

:

And now back to the show.

398

:

Melanie Moore: Yeah, well, again,

the origin story of this prosperity

399

:

party, it was, it was kind of an

ATM encounter was, was one thing.

400

:

But then, funnily enough, it

was when I was on Periscope.

401

:

So I think this year we are going to

be in the eighth or the ninth year,

402

:

plus count actually of the person.

403

:

First year I did it was, This live

experiment on Periscope where I

404

:

said, look, I need, I used to go on

Periscope two, three times a day and

405

:

I would literally just chat to people.

406

:

I'd often get the same viewers

come on and I'd just talk about my

407

:

life, my kids, what was going on.

408

:

And I was like, I think I'd had one

of those weeks where I'd had a lot

409

:

of bills that have come out of the

blue and, and I said, look guys,

410

:

I'm going to do a little challenge.

411

:

Come play along with me this week.

412

:

I need to manifest a thousand pounds.

413

:

Because I've got car bills to pay,

I've got a couple of other bills

414

:

to pay, so who wants to play along

with me and manifest some money?

415

:

So it's like, yeah, yeah, yeah,

who doesn't want to manifest money?

416

:

So for five days, I showed up to

do daily tapping, but with also

417

:

some other exercises as well.

418

:

There was a gratitude

task to do every day.

419

:

And every day I said, right, today I'm

going to be doing some decluttering.

420

:

I'm going to make space for

the abundance to come in.

421

:

And it kind of formed this blueprint

of, what is now in its ninth year,

422

:

the prosperity party, where I set

this intention that I set a collective

423

:

intention that people are going to

manifest a minimum of 500 pounds or

424

:

500 or 500 euros or whatever currency,

because I think 500 pounds, 500, it's,

425

:

it's kind of a nice amount of money.

426

:

Like who wouldn't want that?

427

:

500 pounds to come out

the blue within five days.

428

:

You know, I'm always open

to 500 pounds coming.

429

:

It's a nice amount of money,

but it's not a lottery win.

430

:

It's not an unbelievable amount of money.

431

:

So I want to keep it kind of within the

realms of possibility and believability,

432

:

because that's how we manifest quicker

when we believe it's going to happen.

433

:

Now, and I said to people, if

there's a different amount, you

434

:

set the intention, but tell me

what do you want the money for?

435

:

So that's always the

kind of key part of it.

436

:

What are you going to do with that money?

437

:

So the prosperity party is five

days of tapping challenges.

438

:

We also bring in something

called the abundance prayer.

439

:

I bring prayer into it.

440

:

I bring gratitude into it, which are

all, these are all the themes I've read

441

:

in, I probably read close to 50 minutes.

442

:

money manifesting, money mindset books.

443

:

And they nearly always have a chapter

on gratitude, chapter on decluttering.

444

:

And, and we work collectively as a group.

445

:

So the group energy is amazing.

446

:

There is a day where we give, give

the giving day and I see all these

447

:

amazing gifts fly around the world.

448

:

There's people offering healing

sessions, people offering their

449

:

paintings and during the course of the

week, people are to track the value

450

:

as well of the gifts they receive.

451

:

So.

452

:

We've got some, there's a lot, all sorts

of other fun things that happen during the

453

:

week of the Prosperity Party, but the idea

is really the group collective energy.

454

:

And every year it blows me away of the

things that people manifest in the group.

455

:

And some people continue to do

the practices long after the

456

:

Prosperity Party is finished.

457

:

I remember there was one guy, he was

actually an American, he was an actor.

458

:

And he's at the end, I can't remember,

he, he, by the end of the week, he

459

:

said, I've manifested 65, 000 this week.

460

:

I was like, Oh my God, what happened?

461

:

He said, well, first up, he was an actor.

462

:

He got a part in a kind of

smallish part in Grey's Anatomy.

463

:

He said, that's a 5, 000 part.

464

:

I was like, amazing.

465

:

And then he shared that there was some

sort of lawsuit or some legal thing

466

:

that had been just been going on for

years, I'd say more than 10 years.

467

:

And he found out that week.

468

:

It was getting the resolution

and he's getting a I think a

469

:

60, 000 payout for this thing.

470

:

And it all happened during the week.

471

:

So he's like Basically, thanks

to Prosperity Party, I've

472

:

manifested 65, 000 this week.

473

:

I've had another guy, I remember

there's one guy at the beginning of the

474

:

week, he set the intention, I want to

manifest 10 million pounds this week.

475

:

And I'm like, okay, that's fine.

476

:

Who am I to tell you

that that's not possible?

477

:

And then he messaged me privately to say

that during the Prosperity Party week,

478

:

he received an idea because we also

receive inspiration, be open to that.

479

:

The money doesn't kind of always come.

480

:

And he got this idea.

481

:

And he messaged me a few months

later, saying, Mel, during the

482

:

prosperity party, I got this idea.

483

:

Obviously I didn't say anything at

the time because it was just an idea.

484

:

And it was to secure

funding for this project.

485

:

And he said, just want to let you

know, we've just secured our first

486

:

million pounds worth of funding.

487

:

And it was this idea that came

during the prosperity parties.

488

:

Another lady in the prosperity party, she

was, she was, doing the tapping and she

489

:

basically was going through her emails and

found no no going through some paperwork

490

:

and found some papers that she oh my gosh

i've forgotten about that connected with

491

:

this client then she signed up a 2 000

pound client that week and another lady

492

:

she found an old bank account from way

before she got married in her maiden name

493

:

in her marriage in her birth name and that

account had:

494

:

like I just even I forgot that existed.

495

:

We've had tax rebates, we've had

refunds, we've had all sorts of things.

496

:

But, and, and I don't know

if I've ever shared my big

497

:

manifesting money story with you.

498

:

Well, please do.

499

:

So this is kind of like, this

is when I knew that money can

500

:

be manifested out of the blue.

501

:

And this was kind of, it was kind of even

before tapping became involved in my life.

502

:

So I just had my daughter, And I

had to go back to my corporate job,

503

:

which I really didn't want to do.

504

:

So I was brainstorming all the

ways in which I could leave my job.

505

:

And so I trained to do the

reflexology course at the time.

506

:

And it was during that course, I

learned about the law of attraction.

507

:

I read The Secret.

508

:

So now we are talking about

15, yeah, 16 years ago now.

509

:

So, I was like, right, okay, I am going

to manifest, I'm going to manifest 20, 000

510

:

because I just thought, I want 20, 000.

511

:

That's how much money I would feel

would give me the financial security

512

:

to, leave my job and start my business.

513

:

I didn't really feel like I could.

514

:

So the next thing that happened was

I got made redundant from my job.

515

:

My boss took me aside, really sorry.

516

:

And I was like, thank you so much.

517

:

And I got quite a big redundancy check.

518

:

But so while I was still

working, I used to work.

519

:

Near the studios where Who Wants

To Be A Millionaire was filmed.

520

:

And on my journey to work, I would drive

past the studios and I would visualize

521

:

being on the show, being sat on the

chair in front of the show host at the

522

:

time, this guy called Chris Tarrant.

523

:

And I could see myself on the show.

524

:

I visualized it.

525

:

I'm really into visualization.

526

:

I could even feel the What it would

be like to be in the studio, the

527

:

nervousness of being in the hot seat.

528

:

And I thought, okay, right.

529

:

One day I was at my desk.

530

:

I thought, what do I need?

531

:

All right, I'm going to

apply to be on the show.

532

:

So I found online application

and I applied to be in the show.

533

:

Anyway, I then got made redundant.

534

:

So I'm just trying to get this

timeline of events correct.

535

:

But I got made redundant and I

think it was about a month later

536

:

I got called to an audition for

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

537

:

So I went for my interview and they said,

Oh, why do you want to be on the show?

538

:

What would you do with a million pounds?

539

:

And I said, easy.

540

:

I said, I've just been

made redundant from my job.

541

:

I said, I just want to stay

at home with my babies.

542

:

I don't want to go back to

the corporate world just yet.

543

:

I said, but I want to start

my own business as well.

544

:

I've got a business.

545

:

I just want to really

get my business going.

546

:

And when they frame me up, they say I got

called to be a contestant on the show.

547

:

Anyway, long story short, I got on the hot

seat and I won 20, 000 pounds, which was

548

:

the amount that I had been manifesting.

549

:

I literally, I thought I

just won 20, 000 pounds.

550

:

And honestly, when I got presented

a check on the show, Oh, actually

551

:

I've got the picture here.

552

:

There we go.

553

:

That's when I won the check.

554

:

Holly Ostara: Oh, beautiful.

555

:

I love that.

556

:

Melanie Moore: Honestly, you can't see

my picture, but all that hairs on my

557

:

arm were stood on end because I didn't

tell him, I didn't tell my husband

558

:

at the time, I didn't tell anyone.

559

:

I manifested that exact

amount of money I wanted.

560

:

And of course, at the time,

why didn't you manifest more?

561

:

I didn't even know it's going

to come from a game show.

562

:

I was like, you know, I'm open

to this money come from anywhere.

563

:

And I think the universe, the path of

least resistance for me was the game show.

564

:

And it worked.

565

:

It did work.

566

:

It did work.

567

:

And that was just the conscious beginning.

568

:

I would be here all night if

I started to tell you all the

569

:

cool things I've manifested.

570

:

Holly Ostara: I have a cool story too.

571

:

So, I did your prosperity party last May.

572

:

And a few months prior to that,

in January, I got laid off.

573

:

Made redundant from my job.

574

:

And I was, Not expecting it, but

I'll tell you, so that happened,

575

:

I think, January 18th or so for my

birthday, which is the end of December.

576

:

A friend had sent me this thing called

a wish bracelet and it has, it's just a

577

:

beaded bracelet, but it has this kind of

container and that you can roll up a piece

578

:

of paper and stick inside and you write

a wish on the piece of paper, you stick

579

:

it inside and you wear it and then you do

some gratitude journaling and stuff for,

580

:

you're supposed to do it for 21 days.

581

:

So on my birthday, December 31st, I

wrote, I'm going to leave my job by

582

:

May and go full time in my business.

583

:

And I was saying that every

day, every day, every day.

584

:

And then January 18th, 19 days

later, I was like, laid off

585

:

and at the time I was reeling.

586

:

I was like, I said, may I'm

not ready for it at all.

587

:

I have not ready for you.

588

:

The universe was ready.

589

:

The universe made me ready.

590

:

And I also got a good severance

package and and that gave me.

591

:

The buffer that I needed to go from having

a side hustle to a full time business.

592

:

And it was really scary.

593

:

And, and it was, I, we were

talking earlier about the

594

:

challenge of the universe.

595

:

Life is challenging and the

universe sends you challenges.

596

:

I think sometimes to

say, Hey, are you awake?

597

:

Pay attention.

598

:

And, and it pushed me

out of my comfort zone.

599

:

And even though I was saying,

I want to leave my job by May,

600

:

I don't think I ever would have

done it if I hadn't been laid off.

601

:

I think I still would have waited.

602

:

Melanie Moore: Exactly.

603

:

Holly Ostara: Because

it's too comfortable.

604

:

Melanie Moore: And I don't think.

605

:

Well, I don't know.

606

:

If I'd won the money first,

would I have then left my job?

607

:

I think because I thought, oh, I've

got this money now, but now I think

608

:

sometimes you basically, if you're

hesitant or scared to jump, the universe

609

:

will just give you a little nudge.

610

:

Holly Ostara: Yeah.

611

:

So make sure you're ready to be nudged.

612

:

And if you're not, you're

going to get rid of it.

613

:

Melanie Moore: Yeah.

614

:

The net does appear.

615

:

Holly Ostara: And the net appears.

616

:

I love that.

617

:

That's right.

618

:

And last year was, it was a scary year

because I was growing that business

619

:

and I was, you know, had clients before

for years cause I went into business

620

:

originally in 2014, but it, it was never,

it never had to be my full time income.

621

:

And so it was scary, but every

time I thought this is going to

622

:

get really bad, you know, Something

would come in every single time.

623

:

And I used to even say to my husband,

like, every time I think that we're

624

:

going to be broke, we get a random

check for 10, 000 every single time.

625

:

And, and so then it became more of a game

of, well, how do I not wait until I'm

626

:

almost broke to get this 10, 000 checks?

627

:

And so the prosperity party

actually helped me a lot.

628

:

I got a 433 dollars.

629

:

During the party.

630

:

So close.

631

:

Yeah.

632

:

Melanie Moore: Very close.

633

:

Holly Ostara: And I was

really excited in five days.

634

:

Yeah.

635

:

And you know what else is because I'm

in the U S and you're in UK, I wasn't

636

:

able to make all the live calls.

637

:

And so I, I still got the 433 dollars so.

638

:

It was really fun.

639

:

I'm definitely going to

do it again this year.

640

:

Melanie Moore: Oh, lovely.

641

:

And yeah, and I've heard of people

who did the prosperity, but five days.

642

:

And then I remember another lady on day

six, her husband had been laid off several

643

:

months before something had happened.

644

:

I can't exactly tell us of his job

situation, but then on day six.

645

:

They'd got this call, this

email, this letter to say he

646

:

was getting all his back pay.

647

:

He, all his money that he was owed,

I think it was several in the tens of

648

:

thousands of, this is Australian dollars.

649

:

And it was just like such a relief.

650

:

But some people are going to be

like, well, we tried it five days.

651

:

It's like the other guy with the idea.

652

:

He got the seed for the idea during

the party because you're open.

653

:

And some seeds take longer to

germinate and bear fruit than others.

654

:

So sometimes you've got

to be a bit more patient.

655

:

And an idea from the thought

to it becoming a thing.

656

:

Can take time at times or

sometimes it can be really quick.

657

:

We've got to be both.

658

:

Holly Ostara: Yeah, it can be really quick

The way I like to think about it is that

659

:

anything is available to do anything is

possible But when you when you put your

660

:

intention out there and you say this is

what I want Then the universe has got

661

:

to start rearranging some things And

none of those not all of those things

662

:

involve you like it might have to check

in with some your neighbor So that their

663

:

neighbor will say here Have a, you know,

have my free lawn, but I don't know, I

664

:

don't know where I'm coming from with

this example, but we have to set things

665

:

in motion and involves other people a

lot of times, so a lot of other people,

666

:

they have to line up to get it to happen.

667

:

Melanie Moore: Yeah, you, um, it's

like in the Alchemist, the Paolo Coelho

668

:

the universe is conspiring on your

behalf, but sometimes they're like, I

669

:

just need that person to be here, that

person, you need to be there to pick

670

:

up that phone call at the right time.

671

:

I feel like, actually, if we

just let go a bit more and

672

:

let the universe do its thing.

673

:

It's amazing how things do just

work out, and it's our overthinking,

674

:

our anxiety, our stress, that

just gets in the way of it all.

675

:

Holly Ostara: Mm hmm, exactly, exactly.

676

:

And I know we have to talk about

books, because That's what I do.

677

:

And I know that you're working on a

book right now, and we talked about

678

:

it a little bit before we started

recording, and I am so excited for this.

679

:

So can you tell us about the

book that you're working on?

680

:

Melanie Moore: Well, we've

actually just talked about it.

681

:

Because I've been doing this

Prosperity Party for nearly nine

682

:

years now, and actually I've got two

books that I'm kind of working on.

683

:

One is probably, , Bigger, kind of

more, I'd say my legacy book, but I

684

:

think all books are a legacy anyways.

685

:

So the other book, I feel it's more

kind of my, my, my Bible tapping

686

:

into a big vision, which is just

about tapping and vision boards.

687

:

And it's going to link a lot to, I think

the things we go through, the ups and

688

:

downs of life, journey, heartbreak,

grief, loss, manifesting money.

689

:

It's like the journey of life really.

690

:

And I think it's the way I see it's

going to be this Bible that we have.

691

:

access to, but the book I'm

going to be working on first

692

:

is the Prosperity Party book.

693

:

It's five days.

694

:

And when I think about the title,

I thought, oh my gosh, it sounds

695

:

a bit like too good to be true,

but this is actually what it is.

696

:

I think it's going to be called

the Five Day Prosperity Party.

697

:

, , five days to manifesting money

fast or something like that.

698

:

Because that's really what it is.

699

:

And, and the idea is it's not

just like, right, I'm going to

700

:

manifest winning the lottery.

701

:

It's learning the tools.

702

:

On how we literally create money in our

lives is that it's not a finite source.

703

:

It's not this thing that we only have.

704

:

I think most people think of

money as having, they only have

705

:

one or maybe two channels of

income that's available to them.

706

:

And to be honest, if you're an

employee, which I was for a long time.

707

:

Yeah, my belief system was

that at the end of each month,

708

:

I'm going to get a paycheck.

709

:

That is where all my money comes from.

710

:

But I'm now, gosh, when's it?

711

:

2009.

712

:

Yeah, I'm 15 years into

being a business owner now.

713

:

That was when I last took my corporate,

I took my last corporate paycheck.

714

:

But I know that money is available

from many different channels.

715

:

There's so many channels.

716

:

of abundance available to us.

717

:

And it's literally tapping into

that physically and emotionally

718

:

and mentally tapping into that.

719

:

And, and I think it's just helping

people to understand that I

720

:

didn't know that 15 years ago.

721

:

And it's to help people to really

realize that there are many

722

:

channels of abundance available.

723

:

Sometimes they are very

surprising out of the blue, where

724

:

the hell did that come from?

725

:

But other times it's like side hustles.

726

:

It's You know, even my kids,

I've been teaching my kids this

727

:

for a good couple of years.

728

:

I'm not their only source.

729

:

You know, we have teenagers like,

Mom can have this, Mom can have that.

730

:

And, and I wanted them to know

that actually, I am not your

731

:

only channel of abundance.

732

:

So they have jobs.

733

:

They have to earn a living as well.

734

:

And of course I help them out, but I want

them to be aware that there's Lots of,

735

:

and even today my daughter came home,

and she, there was a raffle at school,

736

:

it's World Book Day, and they had this

like kind of Willy Wonka thing, and what

737

:

did she have to, I think it was like

two pounds for a chocolate bar, but in,

738

:

out of about 200 chocolate bars, there

were 30 golden tickets with like extra

739

:

prizes in, and she said, I sat there,

and I told myself, I'm gonna win a prize.

740

:

And she said, I just said, I'll wave my

hands over and she picked up a chocolate

741

:

bar and had a 15 gift voucher in it

and she said, I knew I was going to win

742

:

it and I said, I've taught you well.

743

:

Holly Ostara: I love that.

744

:

I love that.

745

:

That's so amazing.

746

:

It's like teaching yourself to be lucky

and teaching your kids to be lucky.

747

:

That's an important thing.

748

:

Melanie Moore: That's the thing with luck.

749

:

I've won so many competitions in my life.

750

:

Life and I, even things like,

silly things like raffles.

751

:

I tell myself, you know, I'm a lucky,

and there was very recently I won a

752

:

raffle at a friend's charity event.

753

:

And I remember my friend next to

me, she said, I never win anything.

754

:

And I said to her, do you know why?

755

:

I said, it's because you keep telling

yourself I never win anything.

756

:

I said.

757

:

I tell myself all the time, I'm a really

lucky person and I always win prizes.

758

:

And I'm so pleased.

759

:

My daughter just told me that she's like,

mom, you're going to love this story.

760

:

Holly Ostara: That's amazing.

761

:

That's amazing.

762

:

It sounds like she's

going to do very well.

763

:

And she's going to be

really lucky her whole life.

764

:

Yeah.

765

:

Cause she's got that skill.

766

:

Melanie Moore: I know so.

767

:

Holly Ostara: Well, this has been really,

really exciting, Melanie, where can

768

:

everybody find you online if they want

to learn more about tapping or working

769

:

with you or doing the Prosperity Party?

770

:

Melanie Moore: Well, my YouTube

channel is probably where you can

771

:

find a whole ton of tapping resources.

772

:

There's tapping videos for healing,

tapping videos for manifesting.

773

:

I do a monthly tapping themed video.

774

:

My Instagram is where you can reach

out, drop me a DM, and the Prosperity

775

:

Party will be taking place in May I

don't know the exact dates yet But if

776

:

you just keep an eye on my socials i'll

be talking about lots nearer the time

777

:

Holly Ostara: Awesome, that's amazing.

778

:

And i'll also put links to your stuff

in the show notes too for everybody

779

:

Melanie Moore: Thank

780

:

Holly Ostara: you Holly.

781

:

Thank you.

782

:

I'm so glad we got to chat today And and

as we close out is there one tip you would

783

:

like to leave for all of our listeners?

784

:

Melanie Moore: I would say

just pay attention to your

785

:

thoughts and your feelings.

786

:

I tell my clients all the time,

just mentally, just check in

787

:

with yourself a couple of times

a day, two or three times a day.

788

:

Just notice how you're feeling.

789

:

I like to talk about the

emotional guidance scale.

790

:

So down here, we've got fear,

anger, stress, worry, overwhelm.

791

:

And then at the top, we've got love,

joy, Excitement, and then somewhere in

792

:

the middle we've got calm and content.

793

:

If you're anything below calm and

content, just pay attention to the

794

:

thoughts that are going in your head

because you're, you're probably thinking

795

:

about something that you don't want

to happen or a negative outcome or

796

:

being late or some kind of worry.

797

:

It could be about money,

it could be, whatever.

798

:

So I would just encourage you

in that moment, just think about

799

:

what it is you do want instead.

800

:

So if you're worried about being late,

just imagine being on time, focus on what

801

:

it is you want instead, focus on what

you want and not what you don't want.

802

:

And I think that is the

quickest path to shifting.

803

:

everything.

804

:

And so that can be done with a

thought alone, but tapping can

805

:

accelerate that even quicker.

806

:

Holly Ostara: That's amazing.

807

:

And good life advice in general, I think.

808

:

Melanie Moore: Yes, but we forget it.

809

:

I forget it sometimes.

810

:

Holly Ostara: We forget it.

811

:

Yeah.

812

:

Well, this has been amazing.

813

:

Thank you so much, Melanie.

814

:

Melanie Moore: My pleasure, Holly.

815

:

Holly Ostara: Thank you

so much for listening.

816

:

Don't forget to subscribe to the

podcast, and if you're feeling like

817

:

it's a good day for good karma, please

take a moment to leave a quick review.

818

:

It tells the robots that my existence

matters, and according to all

819

:

the personality typing systems,

external validation sustains me.

820

:

So have the best day, and write that book.
